Axelon International also manufactures fittings from dezincification resistance alloy – DZR brass. This material is the ideal choice when aggressive conditions prevail. Main applications are PPR-C brass fittings, CPVC brass fittings and marine applications. It is available in accordance with CW602N & CuZn36Pb2As.
Low Lead Brass Fittings
Axelon International is equipped and standing by to support your need for Low Lead Brass (commonly referred to as “No-Lead”) components. Axelon International offers the environmental advantages of these Low Lead Brass components without sacrificing the Quality. We are introducing a complete range of lead-free Brass Plumbing Fittings and Valves under “Green B” brand name that meet California lead-free legislation and exceed the United States Safe Drinking Water Act. Also Green B range conforms to NSF’s Annex G of NSF/ANSI 61.
The Green B range of products have a maximum lead content of 0.2% that is fully compliant with the weighted average lead content requirement of the California Health and Safety Code (commonly known as AB 1953) and with Vermont Act 193 concerning lead in potable water systems. These products are made from special lead-free alloy which has physical and mechanical properties that provide excellent strength and corrosion resistance characteristics while still maintaining good machinability.
